About The Bonneau Quilting Group of Berkeley County SC
Our History
Bonneau Quilting Group (BQG) was founded in Berkeley County, SC, in February 2019 as a welcoming place to sew, quilt, learn, laugh, and build friendships.
We welcome quilters of all skill levels and use our talents to serve the community. Our members have made masks during COVID-19 and continue donating handmade items to schools, nursing homes, Quilts of Valor, and other organizations. We also support the outreach of P31 Sewciety at Arise Church, which assists cancer groups and other organizations throughout South Carolina.
BQG is proud to be a splinter group of the Cobblestone Quilters Guild. Some members also belong to Quilters of SC, gaining access to classes, retreats, and guest teachers. Membership in these organizations is encouraged but not required.
BQG has no officers or dues—just creativity, friendship, and service to our community. New and experienced quilters are always welcome!
